Kim Velentzas
Basket Case Organizing’s founder and lead organizer is a mom of two with a background in early childhood and special education. Kim has spent many years organizing the spaces within her own home, as well as the classrooms where she taught.
Long before professional organizing became mainstream, Kim was implementing systems of sorting, categorizing and labeling as teaching tools to help students thrive. She has since combined these skills with her love of art and design to create beautiful, functional spaces for her clients.
Basket Case Organizing has grown from a solo venture into a thriving team-based business, successfully organizing homes and managing moves, helping families navigate everything from everyday clutter to major life transitions, with ease and confidence.
In addition to home organizing and move management, Basket Case Organizing offers holiday styling services ~ creating warm, welcoming and personalized seasonal spaces. The company is proud to have many loyal repeat clients who return year after year for both organizing and styling projects. Kim and her team also work on preparing seasonal residences and income properties, including Airbnb and vacation homes, for seasonal openings and closings, ensuring each property is organized, guest-ready and beautifully presented.
